Are You Ready to Become Part of the Solution?
Finally, a groundbreaking approach designed to address the primary cause of metabolic disorders instead of only suppressing symptoms.
Our treatment utilizes a revolutionary insulin re-sensitization system that provides an innovative way of providing individualized patient care where insulin is administered as a hormone rather than a drug. By using insulin in a manner that bio-mimics normal glucose metabolism, we can:
– Reduce insulin resistance.
– Increase the amount of blood sugar entering the cell.
– Increases the conversion of sugar into energy.
-The FDA-approved infusion pump’s patented program enables clinicians to deliver insulin precisely in a way that stimulates a normal glucose metabolism.
-The result: Blood sugar is used for immediate energy and not stored as fat. (If fat is used for energy, it causes inflammation.)
-Uses intravenous FDA-approved fast acting insulin.
-Insulin has been used as a “drug” since 1922 to suppress symptoms of high blood sugar.
-The result: Insulin Resistance (Insulin receptors fail under constant bombardment of insulin).
-It has been shown in research to increase insulin resistance and increase blood sugar over time.
We take a unique approach to insulin therapy by utilizing and applying insulin as a hormone rather than merely as a drug. This distinction is essential because, when we treat insulin as a hormone, we are not simply forcing the body to respond in a temporary or superficial way. Instead, we are working to retrain the body’s cells to become sensitive to insulin once again. By restoring this natural sensitivity, we are effectively addressing the root cause of insulin resistance. It’s akin to turning back the clock on the progressive nature of insulin resistance. When this is achieved, it naturally reduces or even eliminates many of the challenging symptoms associated with diabetes, such as high blood sugar levels, fatigue, and the risk of complications.
The beauty of this approach is that it offers long-term, sustainable benefits. By improving the body’s natural response to insulin, patients can experience a more balanced, healthier life, with stable blood sugar levels that are closer to normal ranges. This can lead to a reduction in dependency on medications and, in many cases, can help prevent the progression of diabetes. It also lowers the risk of associated complications like cardiovascular disease, nerve damage, and kidney problems, allowing patients to live with greater energy, vitality, and peace of mind about their health.
In contrast, the traditional method of using insulin as a drug, such as through insulin injections or medications designed to artificially increase insulin levels, tends to overwhelm the cells with insulin. This process essentially forces glucose into the cells, bypassing the body’s natural regulatory systems. While this may provide short-term control of blood sugar, it doesn’t address the underlying issue of insulin resistance. In fact, this common, yet often misguided, approach can cause insulin resistance to worsen over time. The cells become increasingly desensitized to insulin, requiring higher and higher doses to achieve the same effect. As a result, blood sugar control becomes more challenging, and patients may find themselves caught in a cycle of increasing insulin dependence, which may exacerbate diabetes and lead to further metabolic complications.
Our goal is to break this cycle. By restoring the natural hormone function of insulin, we help the body regain its sensitivity to it, which can reduce the need for external insulin and improve the overall quality of life for patients. This approach not only addresses the immediate symptoms but also provides a more holistic and long-term solution to managing and potentially reversing insulin resistance and its related health issues.
Every patient’s degree of insulin resistance and ability to metabolize carbohydrates is unique, so we begin with a consultation to see if you qualify for the treatment, determine medical necessity, and establish a provider-directed
individualized care plan.
The patient’s unique care plan typically includes an “Induction Phase” of weekly infusions. As the patient notices improvements, the infusions generally are reduced in approximately 90 days.
Next, the “Maintenance Phase” finds the balance between developing an optimized metabolism and maximizing the time between treatments.
Visits typically start with three hours, and patients are free to move around during the process (read, work, watch TV, etc). As patients improve, the time between visits is extended while visit duration is reduced. A two-hour visit about every four to six weeks is common.
